I’m Beverly Skiles and I’m a breast cancer survivor. Fourteen years.

The most difficult thing about diagnosis and treatment was emotional acceptance that I had breast cancer when there were no obvious risk factors and all mammograms had been clear. I am so grateful for great insurance, and supportive friends, family, employers, colleagues, and my students.
